About Us
The Beginning
Kelsey and Michelle are the co-creators of Moss Restoration LLC. Kelsey started dabbling in woodworking with her grandpa out in the garage and still works on many tools passed down to her from him. Michelle grew up with an eye for design and wanted to be a drafter. Life lead her other places but she has always kept that eye for design. After getting married and buying a fixer upper in Milwaukee, Kelsey and Michelle realized their passions and skills complimented each other perfectly. Together they fixed and refinished their home. Then life led them to new adventures and they moved to St. Louis.
Moss Restoration is Born
After moving to St. Louis, Kelsey went to work for a wood refinishing company to hone the skills she had already acquired over the years. Together they continued to dream of owning their own company with a focus on quality craftsmanship, stunning design and even better customer service. After finding the perfect building to work out of they took the leap and Moss Restoration was officially born. Kelsey and Michelle are passionate about bringing the old back to life to be enjoyed all over again, keeping things out of the landfill and allowing the original character and charm to shine.
