Front Doors
Have a classic St. Louis home with a beautiful wood front door? Has it lost its luster after years in the sun and weather? We specialize in giving your door new life. Bringing with it the curb appeal and returning the entrance to your home in to a warm welcome for your guests. Often front doors are forgotten overtime. They take a beating in the elements, cracking and peeling is common. We will restore it back to a smooth, bright finish using products meant to hold up to the weather.
Wood Windows
Does your home have original wood windows that no longer work well? Over time wood windows often get painted over, painted shut, loose there glazing, have chains or ropes brake and generally don’t function well without a little help. Well, we are here to be that help! We will get your windows opening and closing smoothly. We can even add in some weatherization materials, too. These days there is a rush to replace but we promise restoring is worth it and will last many years longer than a replacement.
Architectural Woodwood
Architectural woodwork is used to refer to any woodwork in your home that is built-in. This can include staircases, molding, trim, baseboards, built-ins, mantels, cabinets. If it is wood and on the inside of your home we can work on-site to restore it. (We do not do wood floors)
Hardware
In the classic homes found throughout St. Louis we often find original hardware still on windows, doors, cabinet pulls, original grates still on vents. Over time the metal fades or has been painted over and the detail lost. We can clean and restore this for you. Keeping some of the original detail and character of your home and saving perfectly good hardware from being tossed out.
